"Chabad House" opened its doors in 1972 in S. Monica and surrounding areas. Since then Chabad in S(imcha) Monica and the Levitansky family have become synonymous for all things Jewish.
Being the only full service synagogue west of the 405 with minyan three times a day 365 days a year, to programs for children which include our summer camp, Hebrew School, Cteen club for teens, SMC Chabad for college students, classes and counseling for adults plus senior and hospital visitations.
Chabad House also reaches out with physical support to those in need with holiday meals and packages.
We are known for our home-like welcoming atmosphere inspiring with Torah true Judaism.
