Our mission is to come together as one, vibrant community of Young Anglo Professionals in Katamon, featuring social events, fun programming and learning opportunities based on communal interests.
BAbayit Katamon has been serving the local Jerusalem community for almost a year with weekly shabbat meals, lectures, holiday events and more!
The attendance in our programming has been astonishing and we are growing by the week. BUT with growth in numbers comes growth in costs. After year of heavily sponsored programming, we now turn to YOU, to help secure the future of BAbayit Katamon and help us continue to service our community!

"I love how warm and welcoming Babayit is. I think this is something that is an important quality to have in an organization. I moved to Jerusalem 6 months ago and right away I felt a part of this community and was able to go to many events and get involved" -Eliana Panitch
"Over Yom Haatzmaut I had the privilege of working with BABayit to make a BBQ for the community. It really meant a lot to me because a lot of Olim ,especially those who have come from communities abroad who don't celebrate Yom Ha'atzmaut, find it hard to connect to the spirit of the day and to find meaning in it. You don't realize how much of a family oriented holiday it is and unless you have family or very close friends here who celebrate it's very hard to find an open, friendly and warm celebration to join. It's the kind of holiday that passes over people's heads and they don't realize that there is a need to include and invite Olim as well. Partnering with BABayit meant that more people beyond my group of friends would have a place to go and experience the chag and hopefully feel a part of Israel and Israeli culture and get a little more connected to the land they chose to make their home" - Chaya
